iPhone app privacy
Updated September 27, 2026.
On your device
The AI Doom Clock iPhone app stores saved sources, personal notes, preferences, and an offline snapshot on your device. It does not upload your notes or reading history. Saved sources and the offline snapshot are excluded from device backup. You can delete them in the app’s About & settings screen.
Network requests
The app downloads public data from doomclockai.com. Vercel and our infrastructure providers process network metadata, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the service. Our registration endpoint keeps a hash of the requesting address in a rate-limit bucket for up to one hour. Operational logs may be retained according to the hosting service’s settings.
Optional push notifications
With your permission, we store an Apple push token, a random installation identifier, the push environment, registration time and revision, and a hash of the credential that protects registration changes. These are stored using Upstash Redis and used to deliver timeline alerts through Apple Push Notification service. We do not use these identifiers for advertising or cross-service tracking.
Registrations expire after 90 days without renewal. Opening the app renews your registration. Turning off timeline alerts inside the app removes your active server registration. An offline removal is retried when the app reconnects. Pending delivery records expire within seven days. A random device credential remains in the device Keychain so registration requests can be authenticated.
Analytics, external links, and sharing
The native app includes no advertising or analytics SDK and has no user account. The website may use its own web analytics when opened in a browser. Publisher websites and destinations selected through the share sheet have their own privacy practices. Sharing sends the source link or scenario text you choose, not your private notes.
Questions and deletion requests
Use the in-app deletion controls for local data and the timeline alert controls for device registration. For assistance, visit our support page.
